Natya Parampara

Natya Parampara of Shree Laxmi mandir is having a history of more than 75 years. Many members / Mahajan’s of our temple had contributed wholeheartedly and by their hard work, set up a cultural tradition for the future generation. The famous Nandi (Vandana played by the artist before starting the stage act) was composed by a great bhajan Samrat late Shri Manohar Bua Shirgoankar along with our Mahajan’s more than 75 years back. He had contributed as a director of dramas performed by our Mahajan’s in the initial stage. The Nandi is written as follows:

Scholarship

A scholarship of Rs 3000/- in the name of Late Surendra V. Kunde is given to eligible student who has passed 12th Science with maximum marks.

A scholarship of Rs 1000/- in the name of Late Sau Padma V. Talulikar is given to eligible student who has passed 10th with maximum marks.

Samaaj Karya

Mahajan’s of the trust played a very important role in society to help the needy. One of the Mahajan Late Shri Keshav Y.S Kunde had constructed crematorium & offered it to the society in the year 1/09/1972 since then managing committee of the temple is maintaining & serving society.

Felicitation

Shree Laxmi Mandir Trust has started a new scheme of felicitating meritorious students in the field of education. Students who excels in 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post Graduation & Professionals are felicitated on behalf of the temple.
